Voice to Parliament

Dear Reader,

Welcome to Liberty Herald, Light in a dark place. Here conspiracy theories are rejected, facts are accepted, globalist agendas are interrogated, frauds are exposed, and ideas are debated. Above all we proclaim truth.

On 14 October 2023 Australians go to the ballot box to cast their votes in a pivotal referendum, where a decision could be made that will profoundly reshape Australia forever.

This referendum calls upon the Australian people to decide whether a race based body, called the Voice to Parliament, should be placed into the Australian Constitution. Those for Yes say it means a better future for Aboriginal and TSI people. Those for No say it’s not the answer and presents a real risk to our system of government. And Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of the Labour/Green government says the Voice is just about recognition of indigenous people.

However, examining the facts shows the Voice is not about recognition or better future; rather it’s about radically altering the way Australia is governed. As PM Albanese himself said, “It would take a brave government to ignore the Voice”. This alludes to the power its architects plan it to have, which certainly does not concur with ‘modest change to the constitution’ as is being claimed!

Also the tricky switch in language from Aboriginal people, to ‘first nations’ people (a construct deriving from critical race theory) is actually an attack on indigenous identity, and what it means to be Aboriginal. As anyone can identify as ‘first nations’ and receive the race-based benefits that come with that, and this is exactly what is happening in Australia, as the latest census showing a huge increase in the indigenous population, and special ‘benefits’ such as Mob Tix, reveal. Dividing a nation by ‘race’ is dangerous.

5 Facts about the Voice

1) The Voice is about insertion of a racially based body into the Australian constitution

2) The Voice will give a small unelected group of people wide-ranging power (based on their ‘race’) to block legislation from passing through the Federal Executive (government)

3) Such a blockage cannot be overruled by the Executive, our elected representatives, as the Constitution is above Parliament, therefore objections the Voice makes will have to go to the High Court for the Judiciary to decide upon

4) The High Court, comprised of unelected judges, will make rulings on Voice objections. Then the High Court will direct the Executive, the elected government of the day as to how it may proceed, or not, with any legislation the Voice has blocked

5) The Voice is about; Treaty, ‘Truth telling’ (which means rewriting Australian history negatively) and Reparations, not just financial but also in the form of huge native title land claims, and resource claims. As is revealed by the full multi-page Uluru Statement

If implemented the Voice will impede and undermine the Australian democratic process, by allowing a tiny privileged group of unelected people (thus unaccountable to we the voter) to make decisions about legislation that affects all of us.

Further to point 2, apart from being rumoured to be 24 persons, the Albanese government has not revealed ANY details to the Australian public on how they will be chosen, how many there will be, or the scope and powers of the Voice. Therefore the Australian people will be voting in ignorance about what is to be introduced!

On point 5, Aboriginal leader James Calyun expresses deep concern about extensive native title misuse and corruption already occurring across much of Australia.

Aboriginal senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price declares; “The Voice will not unite us, it will divide us by race”.

Australians need only look across the ditch to New Zealand, to their version of the Voice, to see how true that it is. After Jacinta Ardern was elected to govern in 2017 she announced her Labour government would move to a co-governance model with Maori power-brokers. Today a rich Maori elite has a controlling say in NZ affairs whilst the average Maori lives in poverty. This shift to the far-Left has brought nothing but strife and division to NZ, and Arderns legacy is a deeply divided and unhappy nation. As Winston Peters said on Australian television, is this what you want in Australia?

All decent Australians want to see better conditions for Aboriginal people in places where real disadvantage exists. But the Voice, in a plush office in the leafy suburbs of Canberra, based on ‘race’ and dividing us by ‘race’, will not do anything to assist Aborigines in remote communities experiencing domestic violence, alcoholism, abuse, ill health and poverty.

Billions of taxpayer dollars are poured into such communities annually and yet to our national disgrace those scourges remain. Aboriginal people ought to be treated with dignity, yet vested interests and corrupt Indigenous organisations keep many Aborigines locked in disadvantage, so as to keep those vast rivers of money flowing. Much of which is diverted into the pockets of a privileged indigenous elite. So while real on-the-ground solutions are available now to end violence, remedy dysfunction and improve lives in remote communities, bureaucrats and politicians are refusing to listen to the voices of Aboriginal people crying out for them.

As Aboriginal academic Anthony Dillon asks; “what will the Voice enable us to do that we can’t do now?”

If listening to Aboriginal people is so important as PM Albanese claims, why does he ignore their voice? For example, in 2022 Aboriginal leaders advised the Labour/Green government NOT to remove the liquor bans and cashless debit card from certain remote communities, but did they listen? No, far-Left ideologues removed both, labelling them ‘racist’, and the result? A huge outbreak of alcohol fuelled violence and crime in some remote communities!

Then, on 22/03/2023 a delegation of Aboriginal leaders, including Elder Sammy Ponto, and No campaigner Cheryl Long, made the long journey from Northern Territory to Parliament house Canberra to have their voices heard, but get this, PM Albanese and his ministers wouldn’t meet them or listen to them! Worse still Linda Burney Minister for Indigenous Affairs also refused to meet them! This is appalling when not only is that her job, but Burney constantly berates us claiming “the Voice is necessary so the voices of Aboriginal people are heard”. Really? But you see these Aborigines are not saying what Albanese wants them to say about the Voice.

Despicably the mainstream media didn’t even report on this refusal by Albanese and Burney to listen to genuine Aborigine voices. And it is hypocrisy and hubris by Albanese and his cabinet to refuse to listen to indigenous voices from remote communities.

Now let’s consider the NIAA (National Indigenous Affairs Agency). This was established in 2019 to, as its website says; “lead and influence change across government to ensure Aborigine and TSI peoples have a say in the decisions that affect them” and “to provide advice to the PM and Minister for Indigenous Affairs”. (correct when viewed 03/04/2023) The NIAA receives over 4 billion (yes billion) taxpayer dollars per year! And is one of hundreds of representative bodies, Voices, to all levels of government.

On top of that there are 30 Aboriginal land councils with control more than one third of Australia, and over 2,700 Aboriginal corporations, which all exist to speak for and represent the interests of Aborigines. Plus, 11 Aboriginal Federal MPs provide more parliamentary representation for Aborigines, as a proportion of the population, than non-Aborigines receive.

So when the NIAA Voice to parliament already exists, plus many other indigenous voices, why are Australians being cajoled, bullied and guilted into voting for yet another Voice? Why? Because it’s not about voice or recognition, and certainly not about improving the life of Aborigines suffering violence or poverty, No, it is about undermining the Australian democratic process, and profoundly changing how Australia is governed, and who governs Australia.

So who is behind all this? To find out, just pay attention to the activists! For example; far-Left Yes supporter Thomas Mayo during his speech to the Search Foundation 12/02/2020 said, “I know you comrades that are listening today will continue to support our struggle….. just like our communist elders have been an important part of our struggle”. Mayo made several references to the importance of communism in the fight for the Voice. Then there’s Marsha Langton a devout Marxist, and not the least Anthony Albanese himself, a past member of the young communists, who in his own words “joined politics to fight Tories”.

This is something most people haven’t woken up to yet, but must urgently. As most people — when informed that communism (cultural Marxism*) is the force destroying our society today — dismiss it as conspiracy theory!! Decades of propaganda have made peoples ears sharp to the contrivance of Nazi, yet deaf to ongoing Communist atrocity. Holodomor not holocaust ought to be taught in schools, yet most readers have never heard of it. Solzhenitsyn was correct about who controls both our education and media.

With the media lie machine (MLM) lying and deceiving on an industrial scale, it’s impossible for most readers to accept that almost all they’ve been told is a lie, whether it came from media or education system. Television is possibly the most successful propaganda tool in history, with social media apps a close second. Most people still don’t understand that Facebook manipulates everything in their feed, and ‘shapes’ their views through censorship and control. MLM propaganda is so successful that most now merely on seeing or hearing a ‘news’ headline, swiftly dismiss facts and reality as conspiracy theory, but accept lies and fantasies as reality!

The long march by Marxism to destroy our customs, institutions and Christian foundations, is coming to culmination, and the Voice should it succeed will not bring reconciliation, but will rip Australia apart by giving special privilege to the few based on ‘race’. Being in Australia before someone else should not confer special rights, for as Indigenous Affairs Minister Burney said in parliament; “it doesn’t matter whether your family arrived here 60,000 years ago or 6 years ago, we’re all part of the Australian story”.

So beware of emotional ads on tel-lie-vision, fake tears in parliament, and guilt provoking activists, the Voice is not about recognition, but about the political class seizing more power for themselves. However so many people have been deceived to feel guilty about colonialism, and many, particularly under 35s, have been taught to hate Australia, taught the disgusting lies its ‘institutionally racist’, that it’s a ‘racist mess’, when in fact Australia is one of the least ‘racist’ nations on earth!

Now that does not ignore that wrongs were committed in the past, and that a bigoted minority exists. We must recognise and condemn both, however, it’s impossible to move forward by camping on past wrongs. Instead we must focus on the good this country offers, and that for decades Australia has very successfully brought in migrants from many ethnicities and melded them into the peaceful prosperous society we have today. But we’re losing that cohesion owing to the perpetuation of lies about this nation.

The true nature of what the Voice portends for Australia can be seen in the hate spewing intentionally divisive Yes supporters, Lydia Thorpe, Noel Pearson, Marsha Langton and others, who are vilifying all Australians, and especially No supporters, with the dirty slur of ‘racist’. Lacking rational argument these privileged indigenous activists resort to abusing those who disagree with them. With Aboriginal No supporters Warren Mundine & Jacinta Price receiving especially vile abuse. Why is all the hate coming from Yes side?

Unfortunately, in these final weeks leading up to the referendum, expect to hear a lot more vitriol and hate from Langton, Pearson and their ilk, and the ignorant media.

Should the Voice proposal be defeated, expect to hear all of Australia smeared as ‘racist’.

This is disgusting, and we all must strongly reject the dirty smear of ‘racist’, or this country will become a very nasty place.

It’s not racist to vote No to a proposal that divides us by ‘race’, and will cause irreversible harm to society. It’s not racist to love your nation and be proud of the liberty and prosperity this country provides to all people, regardless of culture, colour, or creed.

Finally, an acknowledgement of the traditional owner of the land upon which we live. We acknowledge almighty God as creator, owner of all lands and seas, maker of humanity, sustainer of life, and supreme ruler of all people, past, present and future.
